How to Get Here
Adria Ankaran Resort is easily accessible from all directions, whether by car, bus, or train. We are located in an ideal spot at the heart of the coast, just a few minutes’ drive from Koper and close to the international airports in Trieste (Italy) and Ljubljana (Slovenia). Thanks to excellent transportation infrastructure, our resort is easily reachable for both domestic and international guests.
By Car:
Traveling by car is one of the most convenient options for visiting Adria Ankaran, as it offers flexibility and easy access. If you’re coming from Ljubljana, take the A1 motorway towards Koper and then follow the signs for Ankaran. If you’re coming from Italy, head towards Trieste and follow the signs for the Škofije border crossing. After crossing the border, continue towards Ankaran, which is just a few minutes away by car. Parking at the resort is organized and accessible, ensuring a worry-free stay for all guests.
By Train:
The nearest train station is in Koper, just a 10-minute drive from our resort. The train is an excellent choice for guests arriving from major Slovenian cities or even neighboring countries. Taxi services and local buses are also available to connect the train station with the center of Ankaran. Additionally, the train station in Trieste (Italy) is an important international hub with easy connections to European cities. It takes approximately 25 minutes to drive from Trieste to our resort, making it convenient for guests using public transport.
By Bus:
Regular bus connections from Ljubljana, Koper, and other Slovenian cities make it easy to reach Ankaran. Ankaran is also well connected by international bus lines stopping in Trieste. The bus station in Trieste is about a 25-minute drive from our resort, allowing quick and easy travel for guests coming from Italy or other parts of Europe. Local buses in Slovenia are reliable and affordable, further facilitating transportation.
