For acrobatic flights, a specially-adapted airplane for two people is available, whereas the Cessna Sky Hawk II is available for panoramic flights and can accommodate a pilot and three passengers. You will take off from a 1,200-metre-long runway, climbing first to the altitude of 150 metres and then gradually to 300 metres. You will be able to admire the blue Slovenian sea below, wonderful villages and olive-tree plantations, as well as vineyards, bays and seaside towns which look completely different from the air. It is a special experience as one gets the feeling of having people and buildings at their fingertips and that it would be possible to pick into the palm of a hand the numerous boats that are leaving white trails in the emerald sea. A totally new perspective of the Slovenian sea will unfold and you will undoubtedly realise that you do not yet know some of the small bays, although you might have thought that you knew every inch of the Slovenian coast inside out.

In the company of the best

Apart from being an outstanding pilot, Bendžo is also an excellent tourist guide as he will show you all most important seaside structures and natural sights, as well as tell you everything you wanted to know about the Koper port, Mesečev bay and Ankaran, which is especially beautiful when viewed from the air due to the abundance of greenery and a marvellous view over the camping grounds and the Convent hotel. Benjamin Ličer – Benžo used to fly Boeing 727 and is today specialised for acrobatic flying; he has been a national champion in ex-Yugoslavia twice, in 1984, he was proclaimed the best acrobatic pilot and was one of the carriers of the Olympic flame during the Sarajevo Olympic Games. After Slovenia gained independence, he has won the Slovenian national championship four times and he considers his greatest challenge the flight under the Solkan bridge in October 1999 at the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Slovenian airman Edvard Rusjan's first flight. He clocked more than 10,000 flying hours; thus, you will certainly feel safe with him.
