The Adria Ankaran Hotel & Resort is located in the centre of Ankaran. Ankaran lies on the South side of the Ankaran Peninsula, which is the northernmost part of the Slovene coast. Once a small village, after the Second World War it developed mostly as a tourist destination. In Ankaran there is also the only salt meadow in the Mediterranean area.

Directions from Koper: From the motorway to Trieste turn right immediately after the gas station at Bivje and take the old road. At the roundabout take the exit toward Ankaran. After ca. 2 km you are in the centre of Ankaran; at the roundabout, take the third exit for Adria Ankaran.

Directions from Trieste: After the Škofije tunnel, leave the motorway at the second exit and follow the signs for Ankaran. After ca. 2 km you are in the centre of Ankaran; at the roundabout, take the third exit for Adria Ankaran.

Directions from Ljubljana: After the Dekani tunnel, turn right at the first exit (for Ankaran and Dekani). After 50 metres turn right towards Dekani and drive till the roundabout. There, take the first exit towards Ankaran. After ca. 2 km you are in the centre of Ankaran; at the roundabout, take the third exit for Adria Ankaran.
